Sign at our farm entrance, just off the A470 near the A487 junction
Recommended route from the M56 direction ... this is the route we prefer although there are several others you could take ...
Follow the A483 signs for Oswestry
At the A5 Halkyn roundabout near Chirk follow the signs to Llangollen
Corwen
On entering Bala TURN RIGHT onto the A4212 for TRAWSFYNYDD
Stay on this road until you get to a T junction (DON'T GO ON ANY "B" ROADS !)
TURN RIGHT onto the A470 (sign for Porthmadog) travel for ONLY 2½ miles
TURN RIGHT at small 3 lane junction (sign for Ffestiniog A470 & Betws-y-coed)
Our farm is IMMEDIATELY on the LEFT - only 100yds from the junction
You will be able to see our farm entrance sign as you take this RIGHT TURN
LLANGOLLEN is roughly 1 hour's drive away
From closer by:
FROM BLAENAU FFSTINIOG :- (6 miles away ~ 10 minutes driving) along the A470
Follow the signs for DOLGELLAU, (be extra careful to take a SHARP LEFT at Ffestiniog)
THEN follow the road uphill, under a railway bridge & continue for 2½ miles until you see a large green road sign
Our farm is on the IMMEDIATE RIGHT after this sign , it's the last farm on this road before the T junction (you can see a small church conversion house at the end of this junction)
DIRECTIONS FROM PORTHMADOG :-
(9 miles from us ~ 15 minutes driving)
Follow the A487 from Porthmadog towards Dolgellau for about 6 mls
(do NOT take the 1st sign for Bl.Ffestioniog at the bottom of the hill .. )
you need to come uphill for nearly 2 miles until you PASS the entrance sign for Gellilydan village, which will be on your right ~ DON'T GO INTO THE VILLAGE ~ continue uphill for 200yds, then take the 1st left - our farm entrance is immediately on the left - see farm sign photo..
